1. Take a few minutes to focus why you are an activist. Adversity can make or break us. By addressing adversity find your inner strength to overcome the challenge.

4. Read an affirmation a day Here is an example to help you: For instance, if your reason for volunteering is the rise in bullying and hate crimes since the election, your affirmation might be, “I will find ways every day to fight bullying and model supportive behavior to my children.”
